# About clip.qa

## Built for developers who ship fast

clip.qa exists because AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor changed how software gets built — but QA tooling didn't keep up. We're fixing that.

## The problem we're solving

AI coding assistants have compressed development timelines from months to weeks. But when bugs appear, the feedback loop breaks down. Bug reports written in plain language don't translate well to AI tools. Screenshots miss the sequence of events. Video recordings have no structured context.

clip.qa closes that loop. Record a bug on your phone, and our AI generates a structured report — steps to reproduce, expected vs actual behavior, device context — formatted specifically for AI coding assistants. Paste it into Claude Code or Cursor and the AI has everything it needs to write the fix.

## What we believe

- **Bug reporting should be one tap.** The friction between "I see a bug" and "there's a structured report" should be seconds, not minutes.
- **QA should work with your AI tools, not against them.** If you're building with Claude Code or Cursor, your bug reports should be in a format those tools understand natively.
- **No SDK should mean no SDK.** clip.qa uses your phone's native screen recording. Nothing to install.
- **Vibe QA is a real category.** clip.qa is the first dedicated tool for AI-native QA workflows.
