Record a bug.
Cursor writes the fix.
clip.qa generates structured, LLM-ready bug reports that you paste directly into Cursor's chat. Cursor gets full context — steps to reproduce, device info, expected vs actual — and can write the fix immediately.
Or go further: install the MCP server and give Cursor native access to your entire bug queue.
How it works
Five steps. Bug found to bug fixed.
1. Record the bug in clip.qa
Open clip.qa on your iOS or Android device. Navigate to the bug in your app and record it. Device model, OS version, and app context are captured automatically.
2. clip.qa generates the report
One tap. clip.qa's AI produces a structured bug report with steps to reproduce, expected vs actual behavior, and full device context — formatted as LLM-ready markdown.
3. Open Cursor
Switch to Cursor on your desktop. Open the chat panel in the project where the bug lives.
4. Paste the report into Cursor's chat
Copy the clip.qa report and paste it into Cursor's chat. The structured format means Cursor immediately understands the bug context — no rephrasing, no re-explaining.
5. Cursor writes the fix
Cursor reads the report, locates the relevant code, and writes a targeted fix. You review and ship. Total loop time: minutes.
MCP Integration
Skip the copy-paste entirely.
Install the clip.qa MCP server and Cursor can fetch bug reports directly from your queue — no copy-paste, no switching apps.
npm install -g @clip-qa/mcp-server
Then add clip-qa to Cursor's MCP configuration. Cursor can then query your bug reports directly in chat.
Cursor integration FAQ
Does clip.qa have a Cursor extension?
clip.qa integrates with Cursor via the MCP protocol — not a Cursor extension. Install @clip-qa/mcp-server and add it to your Cursor MCP config. This gives Cursor's AI native access to your bug reports. Without MCP, you can still paste reports manually — the LLM-ready format is purpose-built for Cursor's chat interface.
How do I paste the report into Cursor?
In clip.qa's web dashboard or mobile app, tap the copy button on any report. The structured markdown is copied to your clipboard. In Cursor, open the chat panel (Cmd+L or Ctrl+L) and paste. You can add a short prompt like "Fix this bug" — Cursor reads the structured report and knows exactly what to do.
What does the MCP integration do exactly?
The MCP server exposes your clip.qa bug queue as a tool Cursor's AI can call. When you ask Cursor to "fix the latest bug from clip.qa", it fetches the report directly — no copy-paste needed. It can also list open reports, filter by app or status, and retrieve specific reports by ID. This makes the bug-to-fix loop entirely hands-free.
Does this work with Cursor's composer and agent mode?
Yes. Whether you're using Cursor's chat, composer, or agent mode, the clip.qa report provides the structured context the AI needs. In agent mode with MCP enabled, Cursor can pull the report, locate the relevant code, write the fix, and run tests — all without manual copy-paste.
Cursor already writes your code. Now let it fix your bugs too.
Free to start. Works with any Cursor project.
